At Progreso Community Center (PCC), we consider that popular culture is based on the processes of cultural creation that are directly born from the creative inspiration and daily life of members of our community and their own traditions.
This culture includes aspects such as language, crafts for domestic and decorative use, paintings, music, and dance. The producers and consumers of popular culture are ourselves because it answers to our, reality, needs, and community needs.
