Successfully organized Hispanic day laborers to defeat proposed local ordinance SUBSTITUTE BILL NO. BL2005-728 that intended to make illegal for day laborers to solicit work.

Mobile Taco Stands

Successfully organized Hispanic owners and employees of mobile taco stands to address concerns contained in local ordinance BILL NO. BL2005-860 about hygienic handling and food preparation in mobile taco stands.

Women Workers

Successfully organized a group of 15 Hispanic women workers who were being discriminated against and sexually harassment in a multi-million corporation.

Immigration Reform

Organized members of the Hispanic community to demand from an immigrant rights advocacy organization their inclusion in the discussion about the 2007 proposed comprehensive immigration reform.

Neighborhood Organizing

Organized neighborhood in Smyrna to establish a neighborhood committee in its recovering efforts from the flood in May 2010.
